Kenneth A. Knight, Sr. is the Alderman of Ward 2 and Vice-Mayor of the City of Hollandale, Mississippi. He took the oath of office on
July 1, 2021.

Alderman Knight was born on May 25, 1961 in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. He graduated from Rolling Fork High School in May of 1981. After graduation, he started his career in the Health Field at the Sharkey-Issaquena Community Hospital in Rolling Fork, Mississippi for twelve years. He was employed at Miller Transportation Company based in Jackson, Mississippi for two years. He continued his education at Mississippi Delta Community College in Electronics and attended the University of Auburn in Auburn, Alabama to further his career as a Meter Technician. He is currently employed at the Twin County Electric Power Association in Hollandale, Mississippi. Alderman Knight is also the Ambassador for the Corvette Club of Jackson, Mississippi. This organization provide community services to various areas of Mississippi that requires assistance caused by a disaster.

Alderman Knight has six children, one deceased, twelve grandchildren and one great grandson. He is a member of Mt. Ollie Baptist Church in Egremont, Mississippi.

Alderman Knight has passion for his community and loyal to the people in which he serves. He also enjoys hunting and sports, especially watching the Pittsburg Steeler games on Sundays.
